Posting on behalf of Windsor/Essex County Humane Society for transport from Windsor, ON to Thunder Bay, ON.
Preferred Relay Legs: Windsor, ON to Sault Ste. Marie, ON // Sault Ste. Marie, ON to Thunder Bay, ON

Type of animal: Small Dog
Breed: Shi Tzu Mix
Weight: 5.5 kgs
Age: 1.5 years
Sex/Status: Male, Sterilized
Vaccination status: Up to Date
Heartworm status: N/A
Transport Carrier/Crate etc.: small crate
Special Handling: Do not handle dog. Has a history of biting especially if he is stressed and does not know the person. We will send him in a carrier.
Note: Noble is in urgent need of transport as his health is declining at his current home. He needs to get to Thunder Bay, ON to seek proper care.
This transport has been updated to include relay options.

My plane is down for a few days. I could possibly do this flight late this week, or early next week.

@tom.torokvei Hi Tom, early next week works for the rescue - they said Tuesday is ideal for them. Does that work with your schedule and weather forecast?

Can we open this up to see if a relay is possible? When I originally read the post, I mistook Thunder Bay for North Bay. I mapped out the entire flight for me once I noticed my mistake and it’s around 8hrs of flight time round trip from my base in Oshawa.

@tom.torokvei Absolutely! 8 hours is quite a bit for sure. I'll see if there are any pilots in Sult Ste Marie or Wawa that may be able to pick up halfway. Any suggestions on hand-off airports?

@tom.torokvei Hi Tom, the rescue has found ground transport from Sault Ste. Marie on Sunday. Is Sunday possible to fly Noble from Windsor to Sault Ste. Marie?

I’m sorry, but I can’t fly on Sunday. I’ve had some personal issues come up and won’t be able to do any missions until next month.
