THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF KITCHENER WATERLOO & STRATFORD PERTH is seeking the assistance of CWoR volunteer pilots to relocate "Princess" a people-friendly 1.5 year old Pitbull mix.
Posting on behalf of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth Humane Society for transport from Waterloo ON to St John's NL
Passenger: Princess
Type of animal: Dog
Breed: Pitbull Mix
Weight: 57 lbs (26 kg)
Age: 1.5 years
Sex: Female - spayed
Vaccination status: Up to date
Transport Carrier/Crate etc.: Crate will be provided - 36" L x 24" W x 30" H
Special Handling: This dog is reported as being very friendly with people but she is "dog-reactive" i.e. when other dogs are visible
Transport Coordinator Remarks:
The Humane Society is seeking our assistance as Princess was placed with them as a stray but falls under Ontario's banned breeds and therefore it is urgent she gets relocated to another appropriate Shelter out-of-province. Early May is tentative planning window for flight. T
Therefore we are looking for all options including a relay for her please reply if you think you may be able to assist with a leg or ideally this entire routing. Note reimbursement for layover expenses can be discussed.

@tom-torokvei THANK YOU !!! FYI to others - Tom has identified helping with a possible leg out of Waterloo depending on timing. Please consider if you can also assist with a leg going east and let us know Tentative timing is early May for this rescue flight. Feel free to email info@canadianwingsofrescue.ca as we continue to have issues posting here.

@jim-hanna THANK YOU !!! Jim is offering to consider a leg over Quebec so this is great! Please consider if you can also assist with a leg going east and let us know.
Tentative timing is early May for this rescue flight. Feel free to email info@canadianwingsofrescue.ca as we continue to have issues posting here.
We will be assigning a Transport Coordinator soon to this and contacting interested pilots so please consider joining the team for this one.
