Posting on behalf of Prairies Sphynx Rescue for transport from Saskatoon to Toronto
Passenger: Penny
Type of animal: Cat
Breed: Sphynx
Weight: 5lbs
Age: 11 months
Sex: Female
Vaccination status: Up to date
Heartworm status: N/A
Transport Carrier/Crate etc.: Small crate
Special Handling: Must be kept warm during transport
Transport Coordinator Remarks: Penny is an almost one year old Sphynx who can’t fly cargo due to her not having any hair! We are requesting volunteers to get her from the Prairies Sphynx Rescue in Saskatoon to her new home in Toronto. I guess if she’s a hairless cat I can’t say “furever “ home, can I?? Please respond if you can fly a leg of this long distance request.

So far no volunteers for this flight. The rescue states that the cat is safe at their location and is ready to be moved once we have the pilot volunteers signed up.

@anson.chappell I'm planning on visiting my brother in Winnipeg sometime I the middle of May, once my plane is back from maintenance. If still needed, on my return trip I could fly Penny from Winnipeg to Toronto.

No firm dates yet, but the latest would be around the weekend of May 20/21.

Jeff and Greg, I will email you to start the process of planning the relay. If we can get the initial details worked out, the flights will be assigned and we will notify the animal rescue agency.
