After a hectic few days of travel, Lizzi is home to her family in Calgary!
After being rescued from the streets in Puerto Vallarta to her new loving home, she is one lucky dog 🤩 We know she'll have a great time with her family, Shae and Ray!
Our sincere thanks to @wetnosesrescue for the great work they do, and @nutella_jean_joy for her help in fostering Lizzi during her YVR layover. Huge kudos to @gofullturbo for flying this mission and getting Lizzi to her forever home!! Here's to more rescue flights to come 🥂
Mr Porcupine has been released to the wild! 🌲🌲🌲
Through the care from @thunderbirdwildlife and @procyonwildlifecentre he was rehabilitated and made ready to go back home to Northern Ontario.
Huge shoutout to our very own Pilot Greg Campbell who not only flew the mission, but stayed for the release ❤️
Our pilot, Jeremy Hope, just delivered over 900lbs of critical supplies to remote God's Lake Narrows! This community relies on such deliveries to keep their animals safe and healthy over the winter months.
We have a lot more food and supplies waiting in Winnipeg. Any pilots able to help transport are encouraged to reach out to us!
This little Barred Owl flew with us to be rehabilitated at @theowlfoundation in June. Now, all grown up and healthy, we are flying him back to the wild!
Today, this Barred Owl and a Screech Owl friend are waiting at St. Catherines Airport to be picked up and be released back home 🌲🌲🦉
Meet Lizzi! When she was a stray, she came into the care of our newest partner rescue @wetnosesrescue (see first picture)
And meet Lizzi now (see second picture) - through the love and care of rehabbers at Wet Noses Rescue, she's in great health 😍
On September 26, she'll be welcomed in Vancouver, from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. She'll then be flying with us to her new forever home in Calgary 🛩🐾🐕
