🐾✈️ Luna`s incredible rescue journey across Canada! ✈️🐾
When Luna`s owner couldn`t provide the specialized care this gorgeous hairless girl needed, something magical happened - an entire community stepped up! ❤️
Father-son pilots @Paul.Salvini and @Kai.salvini flew Luna from Windsor, fostered her overnight, then continued to Winnipeg. Another amazing individual, Kia, fostered Luna until volunteer pilot @Georgegavrailoff completed the final leg to Saskatoon. This multi-day relay of love involved SO many incredible people who came together for this gorgeous girl!
Huge thanks to our rescue partner @PrairiesSphynxRescue and @flyfastair for making this possible. Now Luna is safe in Saskatchewan and ready for her forever family - could that be you?

Meet Moose, or as he’s affectionately known by his new owners, “Moswa,” meaning Cree for moose.
This 80 lb Bouvier des Flandres recently took a journey from the Montreal area to Northern Ontario thanks to pilot Jim.Hanna, his partner Carole, and Bouvier Rescuers of Ontario.
After being surrendered by his previous owner, Bouvier Rescuers of Ontario worked to find a new home for Moose. And a home Moose found.
Alec and his family, residents of Elliot Lake, ON, were ready to welcome an addition to their home. Owners of two Bouvier dogs already, Gracie and Jack, Alec says that Moswa is the perfect fit for their Bouvier-loving family. After a grooming appointment with a lot of TLC, Moose is looking like a new dog (swipe to see the transformation!).
Bouvier des Flandres are a Belgian herding breed known for their loyalty, intelligence, and big hearts. They’ve been working alongside people for centuries, and today often serve as trusted service dogs and companions.
Stories like Moose’s don’t happen without the hard work and dedication of our pilots and volunteers behind the scenes like, @Bailey.Fenton.5294 who manage so many logistics.
We can’t wait to hear how Moose continues to thrive. Photo credit: Alec Herdy.

We rely on our incredible pilots who are ready to fly!
Recently, @lochscott completed an inspiring journey from Moosonee to Niagara, transporting a bald eagle in need of urgent care to @TheOwlFoundation.
He flew from @CYKF.Tower to Moosonee within just a few hours of the request being made.
The eagle had lost body conditioning, leaving it too weak to hunt and survive on its own. Birds of prey require immense energy and strength for hunting, and even a few days of weakness can trigger a dangerous downward spiral.
Fortunately, after being examined, it showed no obvious external injuries. With steady feeding and supportive care, the eagle quickly gained body weight and is now being reconditioned for release back into the wild. Another heartwarming story of communities coming together for animals in need 🦅💙
Our volunteer pilots make journeys like this possible. Their dedication and quick action truly save lives. They are the backbone of our mission, and we are so grateful!

Last year, we were honoured to transport these magnificent Great Horned Owls to safety! 💛 These incredible raptors are true Canadian icons, found in every province and territory from coast to coast to coast.
Why they matter to Canada: Great Horned Owls are our country`s most widespread owl species and ultimate survivors - thriving everywhere from boreal forests to prairie grasslands, and even urban parks! They`re living proof that wildlife can adapt alongside us.
Those iconic "horns" aren`t horns at all - they`re feather tufts! And get this - a Great Horned Owl`s grip is 10x stronger than a human`s. They could literally crush your hand with their talons!

From Sudbury to Thunder Bay, this Western Painted Turtle got the ride of a lifetime back to his original habitat after 388 days of rehabilitation at @TurtlePondWildlifeCentre to prepare for winter. 🐢
Why does this matter? Western Painted Turtles play a vital role in their ecosystem. As omnivores, they help keep wetlands healthy by controlling insect and fish populations, recycling nutrients, and keeping aquatic ecosystems balanced.
A huge shoutout to our volunteer pilot Amy J. @cessna_ag_pilot95 for making the trip possible, and to Thunder Bay Tower @Cyqt.tower for their generous support of this rescue flight. 💚

We love to make the most of every opportunity. So when we can arrange for an animal or two to be flown both legs of a transport, we always jump at the chance!
Pilot Gerd W. recently took off from Burlington (CZBA) with a screech owl headed to the care of our friends at the @wildbirdcarecentre. Upon arrival in Carp (CYRP), the owl began its journey to recovery but, that wasn’t the only passenger.
For the return flight, Gerd transported a turkey vulture back to Burlington, our very first turkey vulture transport! These animals are nature’s clean-up crew. They use their keen sense of smell to find carrion and support a health ecosystem.
From Burlington, @theowlfoundation Foundation drove the vulture to their facility in the St. Catharines area.
Making the most of one flight means more wildlife gets the care they need, faster.
