Breed: Domestic Short Hair (DSH)
Weight: 8.6 kg
Age: 9 (senior)
Sex/Status: Male /Sterilized
Vaccination status: All vaccinations are up to date (May 02 2023)
Heartworm status:
Transport Carrier/Crate etc.: Brampton Animal Services will provide plastic travel crate
Special Handling: DJ is a very sweet and calm boy. It is suspected that he may be deaf or have very limited hearing. He is not a fan of other cats/dogs and gets very upset if he sees a dog in his space.
Transport Coordinator Remarks: Interesting story for DJ from the Animal Rescue...
He came to us as a stray that was found in a cardboard box on the side of the road. Upon his exam, we noticed that he had a tattoo. After tracing the tattoo in British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba we discovered that the tattoo was registered to his original rescue in Manitoba, where he was adopted from in 2015 and brought to Ontario. We attempted to trace an owner here after speaking to the rescue, but it appears he was rehomed multiple times and we were not able to trace an owner in Brampton. The original person who rescued him would love to have him back and provide him with a forever home, but she lives in Winnipeg.
We are currently looking to combine this with another MB-ON transport underway asap.

Looks like you probably have everything lined up, but if needed, I could do Brampton to Marathon tomorrow.
