Standby - we are checking with the Foundation for a few more details as the intake request only indicated "as soon as possible" so we are double checking on the any true urgency beyond that.  They are also checking on availability in Ottawa for volunteers to arrange their availability to get to airport and details on size of carrier etc.

Tom - if you could outline your timeframe of availability and airport (we are assuming CYOW at this point in time if that works but will advise more shortly when we are updated by the Foundation contact)   

I am also available for this transport (local to Ottawa and can transport to the airport).

Tom - apparently they can accommodate a pick-up at anytime and Carp CYRP or Ottawa CYOW are both suitable options   This Owlette is stable and currently in good health and under care so the asap is to avoid the long stressful car journey.      FYI - the travel container/carrier will be 22 inches long x12 inches high x 13 inches wide.

If you can advise when you are able and would like to do this transport we can then follow-up directly but keeping Gerd/Clay in the loop for now

@canadian-wings-of-rescue I’m available tomorrow through Thursday, and again on the weekend. I’m heading to the East Coast on Monday for a week.

@tom-torokvei  Okay thanks Tom that's great - I will advise the Foundation in that case and suggest we work on planning details for departure from Ottawa tomorrow morning if that works okay for you.  We will reach out further to you directly and set you up with the contact in Ottawa who will be delivering the Owl to you at the airport for any final and last minute planning
