Posting on behalf of: The Erie Wildlife Rescue (Windsor) in conjunction with The Owl Foundation for transport from Windsor ON to St. Catherines ON for surrogate foster care at their facility
Type of animal: Wildlife - 1 Owl
Breed: Screech Owl
Weight: < 2kg
Age: 1 yr
Sex/Status: Unknown
Vaccination status: N/A
Transport Carrier/Crate etc.: To be provided
Special Handling: Containment unit must not be opened at any time during transport. No exposure to extreme temperatures
Transport Coordinator Remarks:
This little owl (pic attached) is currently stable in the care of specialists at the Erie Wildlife Rescue however a flight asap has been requested. Special instructions from animal specialist may be provided to assigned pilot as necessary.
**NOTE - for interested pilots it might be feasible to combined with release of Great Horned Owl flight also required (St. Catherines ON to Sarnia ON)

@greg.campbell, @gerd.wengler THANK YOU both so very much for such a positive and speedy reply to do this flight.
Gerd, its been confirmed The Owl Foundation is good to arrange both Owl transports on Saturday as you propose so these will be combined and assigned to you as CWoR flight # PP016
Greg is aware and we will keep him apprised should there be any change.

@gerd.wengler The transport you have agreed to do will be changing the lives of these amazing Owls; thank you! This will confirm the following flight transport and assigned flight number(s). Specific times/dates are subject to pilot discretion and will be confirmed/communicated in conjunction with The Owl Foundation and your Transport Coordinator
